Pastrami Sandwich

This is a fast, delicious and healthy recipe for the best pastrami sandwich. Along with the tips on this page, you can also add slices of avocado. Basically you can make stuff up as you go along.

Ingredients -

5 Ounces Deli Cut Pastrami
2 Slices Pumpernickel Bread
2 Ounces Dijon Mustard
Dill Pickles, Sliced
1 Large Yellow Onion, Sliced
2-3 Ounces Sweet Pickled Coleslaw

 
Preparation:

1. Spread the Dijon mustard onto both side of the pumpernickel bread.

2. Add the pastrami and top with the onion and pickles.

3. Top with the coleslaw.

4. Serve cold and enjoy.

If you prefer your bread toasted, toast the pumpernickel before you put the Dijon mustard on it.

If you prefer hot sandwiches, then follow the idea above along with putting the pastrami slices in the microwave for about a minute. You can also add slices of your favorite cheese. My family likes Swiss and provolone.
